Our school year is divided into two semesters, beginning in late August and ending at the end of June.
Our school year kicks off at the end of August when we welcome back old students and embrace new. It is the time to get to know faculty and staff and find all the information needed to have the best start to the school year. In mid-October, there is a one-week holiday where you can either go home or attend our Cultural and Sports Trip. We then take a three-week Christmas break when you have plenty of time to reconnect with family and old friends.
Our second semester begins in mid-January. In February, there is a one-week Winter Sports Holiday when you can either go home or join us for our traditional and very popular snow sports trip to the Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz. A three-week Easter holiday break will give you time to spend with your family as well as to revise for any approaching exams.
The school year officially ends at the end of June. There follow eight weeks to recharge your batteries, spend time with loved ones, revise old material and get ready for the next chapter in your life – be it another school year at your Swiss International School, starting your university experience or pursuing whatever ambitions are leading you to your bright future.
