Our thorough admissions process ensures that you meet the academic and personal requirements necessary to succeed in our community. We review each candidate on a case-by-case basis to define special needs and admission into a recommended educational programme or school, or both. Follow the detailed steps below to start your academic journey with us, and please keep deadlines in mind.
Inquiry
To get to know you, please first send the below mentioned to admissions@montana-zug.ch
- The students’ full name and age
- Copy of the students’ passport
- Language skills, English proficiency certificate
- Official school transcripts from the last two years
You may also fill out an inquiry form.
Skype Interview or Campus Visit
Our Skype or on-campus admissions interview takes a holistic approach based on your school grades, interests, academic level and overall career goals so that we can place you in the best school and programme for your personal development. We highly recommend visiting the campus when possible to experience our school and to meet our current students and teachers with our two-day "trial days."
Academic Assessments
To best place you, we will need to review your academic standing with our assessment tests based on the programme of interest. Some of our tests are:
- General Ability Test: The CAT4 ability test assesses English skills separately from quantitative, spatial and non-verbal skills.
- English Essay: An English essay will be completed without external help or a dictionary. Our language department will then assess the essay and decide your English level placement.
Offer Letter
After receiving your school transcripts, conducting the interview and reviewing the assessment tests, we will then send a potential offer letter that states which school and programme best fit your needs.
Submit Final Application
Our admissions team will work closely with you and your family to finalize the last parts of your application and ensure you have a great start to the school year.
