The first question we asked ourselves was simple, yet profound: How do we share our story with the world — in a way that feels true, meaningful, and from the heart?
We set out with a clear intention: to share our values, our beliefs, and the unique spirit that defines us as a school. From this vision, the idea for our image film was born.
What followed were months of brainstorming, creative exchange, and careful planning. Bit by bit, the concept took shape — evolving into something more than just a school video. The result is a 1.5-minute cinematic journey that captures the essence of our community and brings the message of our “Believe” campaign to life.
From the very beginning, one thing was certain: the film had to feature the people who make our school what it is — our students and staff. They are the heartbeat of our community. We wanted them to shine, to bring our story to life, and to offer a glimpse into the vibrant daily life on campus. From lively classrooms to moments of connection outdoors, from the charm of our historic buildings to the natural beauty of Lake Zug just a breath away — this is our world, told through their eyes.
Then came September 2024 — a month we’ll never forget.
Over the course of just two days, we filmed with 12 students and 5 staff members across a range of locations: the soccer field, a classroom, the Aula Felsenegg, the forest, our library (Mediathek), and finally, the breathtaking Lake Zug.
Did everything go exactly as planned? Not quite.
Our first scene opened on a misty, damp morning on the soccer field — not what we had envisioned. But rather than let it dampen our spirits, we leaned into the atmosphere. The soft fog gave the scene an unexpected magic that no amount of planning could have created.
We wrapped on Day 2 with a lakeside shoot at Lake Zug, featuring three of our students. Given the unpredictable weather, we weren’t sure this final scene would even happen. But in the end, it became one of the most beautiful surprises of the entire project — a quiet, powerful close to a film full of heart.
Despite the unpredictable weather, we were able to capture genuine, joyful moments. And if you ask us what stood out the most? Without a doubt — it was our students.
For many, it was their first time in front of a camera, yet they stepped into the spotlight with natural ease, energy, and enthusiasm. Between takes and during breaks, laughter echoed across the set as students from different age groups and academic sections came together — sharing jokes, creating memories, and adding even more warmth to an already unforgettable experience.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without film director Sandeep Abraham and his exceptional production team. We were incredibly fortunate to collaborate with such passionate and creative professionals. Their talent, dedication, and attention to detail shone through at every step. The atmosphere on set was electric — driven by a shared desire to create something meaningful.
Our image film is more than just beautiful visuals and cinematic moments.
It’s a heartfelt reflection of who we are — told with authenticity, emotion, and pride.
A project that brought us closer together and one that will remain close to our hearts.
to our amazing teachers and staff members Marco, Doina, Siobhan, Marianne and Patrick—for their support and participation throughout the process. And of course, to our young stars: Chloé , Sheryl, Sarah, Jefferson, Aris, Hugo, Justine, Aya, Elisabeth, Dillon, Keeanna, Samuele—for bringing your charm on screen.
The film premiered in our local cinemas in May, and will be again in December. It also caught a couple of local media's attention, such as Persoenlich and Markt.
