Markus successfully completed the iconic 26.2-mile course in an impressive time of 5 hours, 31 minutes, and 44 seconds.

This year’s London Marathon, held in April 2025, marked a special milestone—45 years of bringing runners together from around the world under the inspiring theme “We Finished Together.” With unwavering determination and endurance, Markus made his way through the historic streets of London, cheered on by thousands of enthusiastic supporters.

When asked about his passion for running, Markus shares:

“Running gives me a sense of peace and freedom. It keeps me active and healthy. I love the marathon—it's always a huge challenge, but I look forward to it every time. My goal is to complete all six major marathons: Tokyo, Boston, Chicago, New York, Berlin and London. I also hope to run in Cape Town and Sydney someday. Next up for me is Chicago.”

Inspired by his mother, who used to run and win, Markus’s achievement is inspiring. His dedication is a powerful reminder of the value of setting ambitious goals, pushing beyond limits, and celebrating each step of the journey.

Congratulations, Markus—we are incredibly proud of you!
