Montana Club

Since 1926, Institut Montana Zugerberg has been sustained by a joy of learning, a celebration of tolerance and integrity, and the warmth of lasting friendships that span across the globe.

Where it all Began

On 4 July 1966, the Montana Club was formed as a means to be a permanent organisation for our alumni who wished to stay close amongst themselves as well as with our school.

From Montana Club to the Institut Montana Zugerberg Foundation

With the 50th anniversary of the Montana Club, alongside the 90-year jubilee of Institut Montana Zugerberg in 2016, the Institut Montana Zugerberg Foundation was created as a means to further embed alumni relations into our school, to safeguard their interests and to serve as a pool for donations.

Today, we stay connected with:
  • Our "Montana Blatt," a magazine sent three times a year (summer, winter and spring) for alumni to see what's been happening on- and off-campus.
  • Our private community portal where former students and staff can reconnect with one another, join special events and promote their business, amongst other things.
  • Our alumni reunions around the world and on Mt. Zugerberg for our Institut Montana family to stay up-to-date with one another as well as with what we have planned in terms of infrastructure, academics, fundraising and more.
All in all, whether you spent a semester with us or your whole childhood, you are a part of the ever-growing Montana Club, a family-like community and your home away from home.
