Since 1926, more than 8,500 students have become part of the Institut Montana family. Our alumni form a vibrant, worldwide community, the Montana Club, bound by the Institut Montana Spirit that begins on Zugerberg and lasts a lifetime. History of The Montana Club

A Tradition of Alumni Community and Montana Spirit   

1966

Where it all began

On July 4th, 1966, the Montana Club was founded by alumni who wanted to stay connected with each other and with Institut Montana. It became the lasting alumni network that carries the Institut Montana Spirit beyond the Zugerberg.  

2016

The Institut Montana Zugerberg Foundation

On the Club’s 50th anniversary and the school’s 90th jubilee, the Institut Montana Zugerberg Foundation was created to deepen the connection between Alumni and Institut Montana. Its purpose is to support projects that preserve the school’s international character, honor the vision of Dr. Max Husmann, and strengthen exchange between alumni, students, and teachers.

Looking ahead

As Institut Montana turns 100, the Montana Club is evolving through the shared spirit of alumni and the school. Together, we continue the tradition of collaboration, creating new opportunities to connect, support one another, and carry the Institut Montana Spirit into the future.
