Raising Awareness of Human Rights
In cooperation with the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, Institut Montana is committed to the topic of human rights. The focal point of this collaboration was the ‘Speak Truth to Power’ photo exhibition which portrays human rights activists from around the world.
The photo exhibition served as a starting point for an interdisciplinary examination of the topic of human rights. It was a very important topic given current worlds events and the founding values of our school. Institut Montana was founded in 1926 in the belief that education can help make the world a better place.

Institut Montana hosts MUN Conference
Students from Institut Montana and seven other schools recreated the UN General Assembly in a three-day 'MUN Conference' and acted as diplomats to promote the interests of their assigned countries. This year, the focus was on 'technological progress'.

Education of the 21st century
At Institut Montana, we believe that school is much more than just the academics, it is a valuable experience, which will prepare children for modern life with its challenges. It is no longer simply enough to train them in Math, German, or Literature for a future job, which might not even exist in a few years due to digitalization. Modern education should be focusing on the skills, which are crucial to thriving in the 21st century, and this is where the creative approach of transdisciplinary learning comes into place.
